Brief: Glowday was built to make aesthetic treatments safer and more accessible, connecting clients with medically qualified practitioners. As one of the first hires in this fast-growing startup, I played a key role in shaping the brand, refining the UI/UX, and driving its marketing presence. My role spanned brand identity, marketplace UX, and the design of Glowday Pro. The challenge was to balance medical credibility with lifestyle appeal, creating an intuitive, and scalable design system that could evolve with the brand.


The Approach

Glowday’s early branding and UI lacked cohesion. I developed a refined, aspirational identity that felt modern yet trustworthy, ensuring a seamless experience for both practitioners and clients.

Brand Identity & Marketing: Defined Glowday’s visual & verbal tone, balancing credibility with approachability across web, social, and physical branding.

Marketplace UX/UI: Enhanced search, booking, and payment flows, creating a user-friendly platform for clients to find, review, and book treatments.

SaaS Development – Glowday Pro: Designed a clinic management platform with appointment scheduling, treatment markup tools, and digital consent forms, working closely with the CPO, CTO, and developers to refine functionality.

GlowdayPAY: Led the UX/UI for an integrated point-of-sale system, ensuring smooth transactions within the Glowday ecosystem.

The Execution

Marketplace UX/UI Enhancements: Improved navigation, before/after galleries, and medical form flows to simplify the user journey.

SaaS Platform Development: Built an intuitive clinic management system, integrating automation tools, treatment planning, and practitioner dashboards.

Brand & Marketing Expansion: Directed photo & video content, produced investor pitch decks, and designed exhibition stands & clinic onboarding packs.

The Impact

Glowday became the UK’s leading aesthetics platform within a year, surpassing long-established competitors and driving the highest industry web traffic. The brand repositioned medical aesthetics from clinical to aspirational and lifestyle-driven, while the seamless integration of marketplace and SaaS tools provided an all-in-one ecosystem for clinics. My work ensured Glowday’s rapid growth, scalability, and brand consistency as it expanded.
